HS-34 High Speed Labeler

Labeling pots on the High Speed Labeling Station increases productivity and reduces production line downtime, by allowing growers to pre-label up to 6 inch, new, round and square pots prior to production. The labeler works in three stages. In the first stage, stacked pots are laid down horizontally on the in-feed string belt conveyor. This conveyor feeds the pots to the middle belt conveyor, where in the second stage, the pots are pulled apart and passed under the tamp-blow applicator for labeling. They are then carried to the third stage, where they are gathered back into a stack on the out-feed string conveyor. One person can operate the labeler in a continuous manner, by adding or removing stacked pots as required. Rates of up to 4 pots per second are possible with the standard “apply only” applicator and one operator. In addition to the standard label applicator, a “print and apply” version is available to accommodate short runs and on-line printing, at rates of up to 1-1/2 pots per second. Simple crank adjustments are provided to make changing pots quick and easy.
