Bare-Root Potting System - Used PM 2000 Super Potter

Our Bare-Root Potting Systems provide nurseries the production efficiency and flexibility they need. Variable speed controls for the soil hopper and planting conveyors allow the pace of production to be set and maintained. Features like sealed bearings, self-tracking belts, direct-drive transmissions, and heavy-gauge steel construction provide a machine that is both durable and easy to maintain. A modular design also allows for customization to address specific requirements, such as the need to achieve higher production numbers or to meet space limitations.

This system, purchased new in 2004, has served our customer in Maryland very well since installation. This customer is moving out of the nursery business to concentrate their attention on the greenhouse side of their operation.  For this reason, this powerful, well maintained system is on the used market.

  • 10 yard hopper with agitator discharging into:
  • 30' X 30" incline conveyor with chemical box mounted to it.
  • Reversing Conveyor for delivering to each 4 yard hopper.
  • Inline Potting System with two 4 yard hoppers with agitators, soil return conveyors, & 32' foot long potting conveyor with vibrator and power transfer.  (The 4 yard hoppers and the potting conveyor are variable speed).
  • 20' X 24" Take-Off Conveyors with variable speed.
  • Electrical Controls for all of the above.
